Actress and member of K-Pop girls-band Brown Eyed Girls, Narsha (나르샤), also joined the donation movement to support Ukraine.
According to her agency Steit Entertainment, Narsha donated 10 million KRW (~8,200 USD) through the Korean Red Cross to help the Ukrainian people.

“I felt the need to donate after seeing the dire situation unfolding in Ukraine every day. I am so sorry to see the Ukrainian people, especially children, who suddenly lost their place of life, so I joined”,
said Narsha in her statement.
DISCLAIMER: The purpose of my 'Korean Celebrities Supports Ukraine' series of posts is to show you, guys, that there are lots of people all around the world, in particular in Korea, people you may have never even heard of. But these people are not indifferent to Ukraine (although many of them haven't ever been in Ukraine or haven't even had a Wikipedia page in Ukrainian), they knows about your struggle and suffering, and they do care. We do care.
I've told this to my Ukrainian friends and I'm telling you all: whatever happens, Ukraine is not alone. You are not alone.
So you should not be discouraged, you should stay strong-willed and keep fighting for your freedom. Sure you will be victorious!
Glory to Ukraine and 대한 독립 만세!

Is there some story behind it?
Are you talking about your Ukrainian Red Cross, or International?
president rf - huylo
we can translate as dickman
so, their country dickstan
It seemed to me that the Red Cross is generally a global organization, and their branches in countries are secondary. yes, even at the beginning, the general management made vague trips to rf
My Ukrainian friend translated it as 'dickhead'. :) Both is good, anyway.
Totally opposite story in Korea. National branch is very active, well-known and respectful, which make huge contribution to the reputation of whole organization. It's a shame that RC have such a controversial credits in Ukraine.
yes, this version more congruous
Looks like it's way more effective to donate directly to Embassy of Ukraine, to your respectful national charity organizations or even directly to Ukrainians, as Im Siwan and other 'no-show'ers did.
